Unlike other competitive shooters, CS2 isn’t a resource-hog. You can easily run the game with good frames, even with a mid-range setup. Combine that with the fact that CS2 is well-optimized and quite stable.
However, if you want to try the game out, it’s important to be aware of the CS2 system requirements. Even with the great optimization, there is still a threshold spec that your PC has to have in order to run the game smoothly. With that said, here are the minimum specs to run CS2.

From the mentioned specs, it is quite noticeable that CS2 does not have a high-spec demand. Unless you have an extremely old system, you can run this game on most consumer PCs out there.
With that said, it’s better to have a higher-spec PC if you’re goal is to play CS2 competitively. The minimum spec PC will make the game playable, but it won’t be optimal for competitive matches.
