Dominate Eco Rounds Like a Pro on Dust 2

This Eco Round strategy focuses on a coordinated B site take on Dust 2. It involves a combination of smoke grenades, flashbangs, and a coordinated attack to overwhelm the Counter-Terrorists (CTs) and secure a bomb plant.

Key Elements

Equipment: Buy upgraded pistols, 2-3 smokes, and 2-4 flashbangs

Step by Step Breakdown

  1. Throw Xbox smoke and group up in upper tunnels.
  2. Two players move to lower tunnels to throw Mid Criss-Cross Smokes
  3. One player moves back to regroup with the players at the upper tunnels
  4. The last player flashes out CT mid and moves into the left smoke
  5. Flash out B site, attack from tunnels and B doors simultaneously
  6. Plant the bomb and take strong post plant positions

Tactical Tips

Counter Aggressive CT Plays: Be prepared for CTs pushing aggressively on short. The player regrouping in tunnels could have a Molotov ready to throw towards short, delaying any push and buying time for your team. If you spot early aggression, communicate it immediately to adjust your strategy.

Silent Movement: When moving through upper tunnels, maintain strict noise discipline. Any unnecessary sound can alert the CTs and cause early rotations, potentially disrupting your execute. Walk when possible and coordinate your movements to minimize noise.

Smoke Management: If you have any smokes left after planting, use them strategically. Block off doors or the upper tunnel entrance to hinder the CT retake. These smokes can buy valuable seconds and force CTs to push through or wait, both of which play in your favor.

Effective Communication: Clear, concise communication is crucial throughout the execute. Call out enemy positions when taking the site, coordinate your attack timing, and assign post-plant roles clearly. Use simple, agreed-upon callouts to avoid confusion in the heat of the moment.

Adaptability: Be prepared to adjust your strategy on the fly. If you encounter early resistance or lose a player, be ready to fall back or modify your approach. Having a ‘Plan B’, such as splitting to A site, can be valuable.
