A New Chapter for the Swedish Star
The Swedish star rifler Fredrik “REZ“ Sterner has been announced to join GamerLegion after leaving NiP. He will be adding extensive experience and firepower to the team.
REZ has been a cornerstone of NiP since 2017, enduring numerous roster changes and contributing to the team’s successes, including a standout performance at IEM Oakland 2017, where he was named MVP. However, since early 2023, the team has been unable to perform consistently, struggling to stay in the top 20.
GamerLegion, which is currently ranked 18th in the world, has been restructuring its roster to get ready for the upcoming tournaments in 2025. The move reunites him with fellow Swede Erik “ztr” Gustafsson, who joined the team in July 2024.
Fans don’t have to wait long to watch REZ playing his first tournament for his new team, where they will attend the BLAST Bounty Season 1, scheduled for January 14-18.
