The legendary Counter-Strike player Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, has officially announced his retirement from competitive play. dupreeh is the player with the most Major titles in Counter-Strike history, marking the end of an extraordinary career.

The emotional announcement came live on stage at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, right before the BLAST.tv Major final.

An Unmatched Legacy

dupreeh retires as the most successful player in CS Major history, with an impressive five Major championships. Four of these titles came during the legendary Astralis era, where he played alongside teammates device, gla1ve, Magisk, and Xyp9x. His fifth Major trophy, won with Vitality at the BLAST.tv Paris Major in 2023, further solidified his historic status.

Throughout his career, dupreeh collected an outstanding 27 trophies and competed at 19 Majors, making him one of the most experienced and respected figures in the Counter-Strike community.
